The Parish of the Durham Martyrs

This committee has a relatively wide remit, essentially caring for our built environment and how we engage with it.

Small day to day tasks are carried out informally by a range of users and as needs change or jobs become more complex or require specialist skills or investment, then these issues are reported via various channels, including the Parish Priest. Formal meetings are held approximately once per quarter. At these meetings progress is reported, new issues are discussed and actions are allocated to specific committee members. Over the following quarter, the lead committee member for each task, coordinates with external advisors, contractors or consults with other committee members via email as appropriate. Minutes of activity are recorded.
