A huge thank you to St. Joseph’s School Mini Vinnies for the wonderful work you have done in supporting Sanctuary 21 throughout the year through various projects of your own design within school. Your most recent generous donation from your ‘Frosty Friday’ project when you raised funds from the sale of ice pops will go a long way to help to provide much needed sleeping bags. Thanks also go to the Year 6 children at St Godric’s School for the work you did in collecting and donating warm clothing. Best wishes to you all from everyone at Sanctuary 21 and we hope you will be very happy and successful in your new school.
Coffee and Crafts event
Following the success of our earlier Coffee and Crafts event we will be repeating this on Saturday 27th July between 10.30am and 1.30pm at Sanctuary 21, Saddler Street, Durham when we will open our doors for the sale of refreshments and a range of craft items produced at St. Margaret’s Centre, a local mental health charity. A proportion of sales will go towards the purchase of sleeping bags for homeless / rough sleepers. Please come along if you can support these two very worthwhile local charities.
