Thanks from St Godric's Steering Committee

The St. Godric’s Steering Committee would like to say a tremendous thank you to those who contributed so much time and effort to preparing the church for the four nights of Lumière. Your efforts were much appreciated and commented on by our 1664 visitors. They loved how beautiful the church looked, how lovely it was to add a prayer to the prayer tree, they enjoyed live music one evening. The feeling of tranquillity gave respite from the noise and bustle outside.

There were numerous compliments on the warmth of the welcome throughout the building and in our wonderful cafe. Home baking was never more appreciated, especially when served with such friendliness! The temperature in the Saint John Boste room was also a huge attraction!

Fervent thanks from the official stewards who popped in regularly from the cold!

So, once again, THANK YOU all for sharing your multiple skills and abilities to demonstrate what a wonderful, co-operative parish we have!
