This has been such a difficult year for many. Your support has been deeply appreciated. Even now our way forward is uncertain and the message of Christmas needed all the more. Hope in darkness. The year has also given exceptional examples of self-sacrifice and kindness. I see it in our schools, our hospitals, our care homes and in our parish. A ‘thank you’ again to our church stewards. In all of this uncertainty, can I thank you for your support for me and wish you all a very peaceful Christmas. Please stay safe and don’t take unnecessary risks.
