Upcoming Funerals

Owing to the impact of the coronavirus, the Bishops' Conference has advised that there will be no gathering for public acts of worship in our churches with effect from Friday evening, 20th March, and therefore no funerals will be taking place in any church.

We extend our sympathy to the family and friends of the following:

Melinda Adey  passed away on 5th April.  Her  private funeral will take place on Wednesday, 22nd April in Belmont Cemetery at 12.30pm

Ray  Elliot,who  passed  away  on 6th April. His private  funeral  will  take  place on Wednesday, 22nd April at Durham Crematorium at 11.00am.


Our sympathyalso goes to Kitty Trainor, whose nephew passed away in Ireland earlier this week.

Jenny Clough  whose private funeral takes place Wednesday, 29th April at Durham Crematorium at 12 noon.

Our sympathies and prayers  are also with Andrea Murray on the death of her father Bill. 


Stanley Young, whose private Funeral Service will take place at Durham Crematorium on Thursday, 14th May at 3.00pm

Agnes Henderson, whose funeral arrangements are not known at this time.
Catherine Bell, whose private funeral will take place on Monday,11th May at 3.00pm at Durham Crematorium.


Dennis Hawley, who recently passed away. Requiescat in pace.
