It’s nice to be back after a relaxing break at home. Covid dominates at home too, where restrictions are quite severe. Like here, a sense of optimism is underpinned by an impatience to get beyond the virus and back to some kind of normality. We march forward as a parish into the winter months. Schools return and we hope and pray that our church services will soon be as vibrant as pre-pandemic. Catching up with delayed marriages and baptisms will be a priority.
