Parish News and Announcements

Huge thanks to all who contributed to the Fayre.

The amazing amount of £860 was raised from both the Tombola and Raffle. We have also had a generous donation of £100 from the Jolly Dollies at Durham Working Men’s Club. Therefore a total of £960 will be shared between Sanctuary 21 and local charities.

Unclaimed Raffle Prizes

The following people have won a prize.

Please ask at the Piety Stall in St. Joseph’s this weekend.

Ticket no. 8 – Maureen Milsom

Ticket no. 38 – Paul Linnett

Ticket no. 69 – John Hayton

Thank you to all readers and ministers who have volunteered for our Christmas Masses. However, we are struggling on Christmas Day. At St. Godric’s, we have no volunteer readers at all, and only one minster, and only one volunteer minister at St. Joseph’s, and one reader. If you can help, please let Marjorie know, so that she can complete the list of available people for Fr. Colm.

Eucharistic Services at St. Joseph’s will continue on Mondays throughout Advent at 9.15am. However, this Monday, 9th December, is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and there will be Mass at 9.15am at St. Joseph’s.
