St Godric's Catholic Primary School
Next Friday, we break up for the half-term break after what has been a very busy and productive start to the school year.
It has been lovely to see how well all of the children have settled into their new classes, and our Nursery and Reception children already feel like they have been part of the St. Godric's family for much longer than just a few weeks! Everyone is looking forward to a well-deserved rest over half term before we return and begin preparations for the exciting Christmas season.
We look forward to welcoming parents and families of our Early Years children to a Celebration of the Word next Friday at 2.30pm as we come together to give thanks for such a positive start to the year.

St Thomas More Catholic Primary School
Message from Mr. Hunt
Dear Parish Families,
As I prepare to leave St. Thomas More after 11 years, I would like to thank you for the warmth and kindness you have shown me and for making me feel so welcome within the parish community. Over the years, I have had the privilege of getting to know so many families through the school, and I will not forget the people, conversations and memories we have shared.
The Parish of the Durham Martyrs will always hold a very special place in my heart. Thank you for everything, and may God bless you all.

St Leonard's Catholic Secondary School
Well done Kris Bethapudi, year 11 student from St. Leonard's secondary school who hiked the Snowdon peak on the 10th October and successfully raised a £ 1131 for CAFOD.
The money would be contributed to support underprivileged children across the world. Kris expresses his sincere gratitude for everyone’s generosity and support towards this cause.
