On Monday 19th of May at 7:00pm there will be an evening of pipe music given by Paul Martin (The Dunholm Piper) and Charlie Villis in St Godric's Church.
This concert will feature traditional and medieval music with short stories from the life of St. Godric. The music will include two of the hymns attributed to Godric himself as well as Northumbrian and Irish folk music.

Paul Martin will be playing Northumbrian and Uilleann pipes as well as a medieval bagpipe for the St.Godric hymns. With him will play local guest musicians on fiddle, flute, guitar, medieval drum and banjo. The short stories are being presented by Charlie Villis.

Tickets are £5 on the door ( under 16yrs free ) with all proceeds going to Durham Foodbank.
