This week our school will be taking part in Children's Mental Health Week and we will be talking, listening and learning how to support each other and ourselves.
On Tuesday 10th February, the children will be hosting a Safer Internet Day Assembly in the school hall at 2.45pm. All families and friends are welcome to attend.
On Wednesday 11th February, the children in Year 5 and 6 will be attending Mass in church at 10am. All families and friends are welcome to attend.
Change of Date - Please be aware that the Explanation Mass for the children receiving their First Holy Communion will now take place on Sunday 15th February at 3pm at St. Joseph's Church, Gilesgate. This new date replaces the previously scheduled Mass on Sunday 1st February. We look forward to coming together to celebrate this special preparation Mass.

Un fantastique Vendredi Français! On Friday, the children all enjoyed a French-themed afternoon. They took part in a quiz, practised speaking French and tasted some delicious French food, giving everyone a chance to learn and enjoy a little bit of French culture together.
Children’s Mental Health Week - This year’s theme is ‘This Is My Place’ and throughout next week, we will explore the importance of belonging, for our mental health and wellbeing. Look out for our photos and videos on our new Instagram and Facebook accounts:

We are delighted to share the exciting news that we have secured our school visit to the Houses of Parliament for this year. Our Year 5 and 6 children will travel to London on 12th June to enjoy a guided tour of Parliament, see Buckingham Palace, and take in some of the other iconic sights of our capital city. This is always a memorable opportunity for our pupils to deepen their understanding of democracy and British heritage.
We are also offering tours of our school and nursery for families with children who will be turning three in the next year. Spaces are filling up quickly, so we encourage families to get in touch soon if they would like to join our nurturing early years.

We have recently received a letter from the Secretary of State for Education recognising the work of our school. This acknowledgement reflects the dedication of our staff and pupils, and we are grateful for the continued support of our school community.
