We would like to thank all the children and families for the amazing costumes, outfits and Shoebox Story competition entries for World Book Day. It was a fantastic day, and it showed the creativity and imagination the children learn from reading. Everyone enjoyed celebrating books together.
The children in Years 3 and 4 will be attending Mass in church at 10am on Wednesday, 11th March. All families and friends are welcome to attend.
On Thursday 12th March at 9am EYFS have a ‘Stay and Discover Number’ event. This is a parent and pupil session. St Godric's Catholic Primary School
It’s been lovely to see everyone back in school after the half‑term break, especially with a bit of sunshine to brighten the week! This Sunday at 9am, we welcome our children preparing for their First Holy Communion to Mass.
Looking ahead, our next Nursery Open Morning will take place at 10am on Wednesday 11th March. If you or anyone you know has a child aged 3 or nearly 3, we’d be delighted to meet you. Our new Nursery cohort will join us after Easter.

St Thomas More Catholic Primary School
We are delighted to share the exciting news that we have secured our school visit to the Houses of Parliament for this year. Our Year 5 and 6 children will travel to London on 12th June to enjoy a guided tour of Parliament, see Buckingham Palace, and take in some of the other iconic sights of our capital city. This is always a memorable opportunity for our pupils to deepen their understanding of democracy and British heritage.
We are also offering tours of our school and nursery for families with children who will be turning three in the next year. Spaces are filling up quickly, so we encourage families to get in touch soon if they would like to join our nurturing early years.

St Leonard's Catholic Secondary School
On Friday 20th February members of our Faith in Action group walked to Melbury Court Care Home to spend the morning with some new friends. Our pupils worked hard to prepare prizes, activities, rehearsed a sing along as well as creating 'goodie bags' for every resident in the home. It was lovely to see our pupils putting their faith into action and spreading messages of hope and faith at the start of Lent. Photos can be found on our social media pages.
