Youth Group Family Pilgrimage

Our parish youth group joined together this month for a mini pilgrimage.

We began our journey at St Cuthbert's church, where we were warmly welcomed by our young leader volunteers from the university's Catholic Society. Ninia told us all about St Francis of Assisi and how we can help to rebuild God's church.

Despite the weather, we happily walked from St Cuthbert's church to the Franciscan Friary.

There, we had the opportunity to ask Brothers Lixson, Luchian and Paul some questions about life in the Capuchin order. Then Brother Lixson said a very special Mass for us.

We all travelled together from the friary to our final destination of the evening, St Godric's church, where we shared food and relaxed in each others company.

A very big thank you for the support of the young volunteers and the brothers during the session.
