After many years of professional service Janet Nichols has decided to step down from the  voluntary role as parish book-keeper. 

 

We now need to seek a replacement from within the Parish and anyone who is interested in taking on this role please contact Fr Colm.

 

A brief description of the role is available on request from the Parish Secretary and Janet will happily assist in handing over the role.

 

 

St. Joseph’s

Early years are having a Stay and Play Session on Wednesday 18th June at 3.45pm. All are welcome to attend.

 

We also have a Nursery Open Day on Thursday 19th June from 1.30pm -2.30pm. We have spaces in both reception class and nursery. 

 

St. Joseph's community needs help to grow our Friends of The School Group. If you are interested in supporting the group we would like to invite you into school on Tuesday 17th June at 2.30pm for a chat and a coffee. We look forward to seeing you there.

 

St. Thomas More

We would like to invite all our families, and parishioners, to join us in celebrating St. Thomas More's Feast Day on Sunday 22nd June. Our children will help lead this Mass, please come along if you can.

 

 

There will not be the usual Exposition from 3.00-4.00pm at St. Godric’s, on 22nd June, owing to the Eucharistic Procession and Adoration at Ushaw College.  It will resume on 29th June.
